The Visual and Performing Arts Community at Trenton Central High School Presents An Exhibition Featuring Drawings and Paintings, Cool Jazz, Dance and Spoken Word Performances.
Curated by Teacher Leader Sharron Grady and Studio Art Teacher Thom Montanari of the Visual and Performing Arts faculty, this exhibition will be the first gallery show for the talented artists that have developed their artistic technique and vision during the past three years within the Visual and Performing Arts Community, first established in 2005.
Montanari says he is excited that the Trenton Community will have this opportunity to see the extraordinary caliber of art being produced by these students. In addition to the 30 artworks that will be included in the show, live student graffiti and body art demonstrations, music by the jazz ensemble, and dance troupe and spoken word performances will be featured during the show's run, creating a true showcase of the artistic talents being nurtured at Trenton Central High School.
Presented by Artworks, Trenton's downtown center for visual arts, the show is sponsored by Langan, an Engineering and Environmental Services firm with offices in downtown Trenton. |
