Temptation
Gallery Artist's Taking the Leap

Lambertville , NJ . . . This month Artists' Gallery members will tempt you with an enticing new mix of contemporary and traditional art. Temptation will open February 8 and close March 2, 2008. A tempting chocolate buffet will be provided for the opening reception, Saturday, February 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wicked French Truffles donated by The Chocolate Box at 39 North Union Street will be included.

This February marks another Leap Year

and Artists' Gallery members are taking a leap into seductive subjects as they succumb to the lure of smelly oil paints and varnish. While others will be drawn to their watercolors, collage elements, camera or mirrors and glass. We don't know what tempts you. Maybe it's the purity of a snow covered hillside or the sensuous beauty of a flower. A loosely painted watercolor or abstract work could be a compelling attraction, or the mysterious pull of an anonymous portrait might be impossible to resist. We hope you will become infatuated with the work of our artists. Why not join the gallery leapers at the opening for a steaming cup of hot cocoa and a tasty bit of something chocolate. Leapers know when to say “yes” to temptation.

Current gallery leapers include Beatrice Bork, Gail Bracegirdle, Jennifer Cadoff, Merle Citron, Richard Harrington, Charles Katzenback, Joe Kazimierczyk, Alan Klawans, Sheila Letven, Florence Moonan, Taylor Oughton, Alla Podolsky, Marc Reed, J. Stacy Rogers, Carol Sanzalone, Stacie Speer Scott, and John Treichler.
