10/29/2007 From Michelle Soslau:

I would like to let you know that as part of a gallery talk at Artworks in Trenton  on Nov 14th I will be introducing the work of TFAP.  (The Feminist Art Project) I am a participating artist in the Reunion Show at Artworks  I will be talking about my process and  will open the discussion  to questions, ideas and comments.  There is an idea of curating a show in the next two years that will speak to gender  issues.   We never know who or how many will attend a gallery talk, we hope for a good group.  Michelle Soslau

Dear all,

I would like to take a belated opportunity to thank Trisha Fagan who hosted the TFAP-NJ meeting at her gallery at Mercer County Community College Art Gallery on October 1 and those who attended it. About 35 people attended the meeting and enjoyed viewing Trisha's "Dangerous Women II" exhibition and her talk. During the discussion before her gallery talk, we mainly focused on how we can incorporate more feminist contents in the education. The attendees included a dozen of students from Princeton High School who are involved in running the Numina Gallery ( http://numina.prs.k12.nj.us/ ) and their young voices added a new dimension to our discussion. Some museums and galleries have been actively involved in this endeavor and TFAP website would like to accommodate listings of such educational programs. In fact, the website is already collecting syllabi and reading lists on feminist art education ( http://feministartproject.rutgers.edu/?page=19 ). Please check this out and submit yours.

Although it's still far ahead of time, I would like to announce two upcoming TFAP-NJ events in spring. The latter may still change in time and location, but please save the following dates.
