Call for entries

Public Art Request for Qualifications, Montclair, NJ.  Budget: $25,000.  A century-old Masonic Temple is being converted to a state-of-the-art spa in the heart of Montclair, NJ's central business district 12 miles west of New York City.  BangZ Salon and Wellness Spa, in cooperation with the Montclair Arts Council, is commissioning artworks which will be affixed to the original double doors on the front of the building at its main entrance.  Materials may include, but are not limited to, copper, bronze, other metals, wood, glass and paint.  Materials should be durable, easily maintainable and provide necessary structural integrity.  For submission requirements, pictures and plans, please download the RFQ from www.montclairarts.org under “Quick Links” “Calls for Artists”.
