Hi,

I have a show of paintings up now through Oct. 26th, at Simply Natural Living, 1400 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ .  There will be a reception Sunday, Sept. 23rd, 3-5:00.  Store hours are M-Th and Sat. 10-5:00, Fri. 10-7:00.  Barbara Stange, the owner, has recently instituted regular art exhibitions at the store, as part of her philosophy that the arts are an integral part of a healthy lifestyle.

My show, "Looking Inside of Summer" weaves together two themes:  dandelions, as summer's most unappreciated, even reviled flower, and lattices as symbols for the ways we see and filter information.  In retrospect, the most recent painting, titled, "Dramatic Encounter", was a forewarning of something which did occur a couple of days after I finished the painting.  (Hear the "Twilight Zone" theme song here?)  I'll tell you about it in more detail when I see you.  Hope you can see the show!
